I booked a courtyard one bedroom suite. It was gigantic - very roomy. I little difficult to get to but worth the effort. The room was part of the old classical building facing Fo Utca overlooking the fountain on Corvin Ter. There is a very cozy coffee spot on Corvin Ter with great ice cream in summer. The breakfast was very good. Lots of room to find a table and food replenished frequently. The entrance to the hotel faces the river and spectacular views to many of Budapest's tourist favorites - the Parliament, Chain Bridge and the Gresham Palace. Japanese and Hungarian restaurants nearby. Underground station 200 meters away. great access to trams (19 and 41) that take you on a scenic ride along the river with stops at major bridges to get to the other side (Pest). all in all, a good choice.

The view from our room was unbelievable! It overlooked the Danube; to the right we could see the Chain Bridge and to the left we could see the Parliament Building, which is even more impressive in the night time. One evening we were treated to a fireworks show from a boat in front of the hotel. I imagine rooms on the other side of the hotel had incredible views of the Fishermen's Bastion, because we could see it from the elevator foyer. Our room was a spacious suite, with a king sized bed, plenty of workspace and comfortable seating. We had a kettle and espresso maker, a must for avid coffee consumers like us. The hotel is located in a walkable area, with a tram stop right across the street, making for easy access to all the must-sees!

It was not my first visit to Budapest and I was not disappointed with the accommodation. The location is great, cool to see the fabulously sparkling Parliament building in the night lights from another side of the Danube. It is very close to the Chain Bridge too. If you are not afraid to walk, you can reach the best attractions on foot. Breakfasts are diverse and nice. Elemis toiletries are wonderful. It was only my second time when I met this brand in the hotel. The view even from our room on the 2nd floor to the Castle was great, but of course, from the upper floors should be even better.

Very good hotel. Wonderful location - views of key Budapest sights from front and back, also is on tram line and bus line and short walk to metro, and a short walk to Chain Bridge and city esplanade, and to a small neighbourhood mall for essentials. (I stayed 8 nights). Excellent sound proofing of rooms. Nice big rooms, comfortable medium-firm beds, choice of pillows. Art work used was interesting, quirky. Breakfast good, wide variety of foods. Restaurant dinner also had good variety at reasonable prices. Other small cafes and restaurants nearby or easy to reach.

Hotel is well located on public transport routes and a quick walk to Castle Hill and the Chain Bridge. Staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly, and our few requests were dealt with immediately. The main room and bathroom were large, well appointed and very clean. Lovely toiletries were supplied. Opening windows were fantastic, and curtains provided blackout for sleep. Breakfast was plentiful and varied.
